BUILD Leaders in Action January

Our Mission & Movement

Updates from January

130 BUILD leaders came out in the cold to Northside Baptist Church to discuss BUILD’s goals for 2026. We also broke out into issue groups around criminal justice reform, immigration, North/Northeast planning, and housing. We’re looking forward to all the amazing things we’ll accomplish together in 2026.

100+ leaders came to Coppin Heights where BUILD partnered with the 6th Branch for a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service neighborhood clean up. We are excited to see what the community decides to build in this space. Stay tuned!

Only a couple weeks into the year, and we’ve already held our first training! More than 70 people showed up to the Cathedral of the Incarnation for our training in partnership with the Episcopal Diocese on community organizing.
